Direct to Film Transfer, or DTF, is a new technology that allows us to print your custom designs onto special film.  These films are then transferred by you onto a garment of choice.  These garments can be ANY color and ANY material. Similar to most heat transfer processes, a quality heat press is necessary for maximizing the best results.  These DTF Transfers will be applied at 310 for 15-20 seconds and COLD PEELED. Cover with teflon or parchment paper and repress for 15 seconds. 

Color Disclaimer. Actual colors may vary. This is due to the fact that every computer monitor has a different capability to display colors and that everyone sees these colors differently. Please understand the actual color may vary slightly from your monitor. We cannot guarantee that the color you see accurately portrays the true color of the transfer but we strive to match as close as possible. Quality - Please check the resolution of your file before placing your order. Again, your file will be printed as it is received. 300 dpi is the suggested minimum.

**Artwork requirements**

  • Files MUST be minimum 300dpi up to 900 dpi with a transparent background
  • Acceptable file types: PNG Only
  • Please send artwork the exact size you want it printed.  If your not familiar with adjusting the image, I can adjust them for you for an additional $10 (just check the option). 19 inches is the max length.
  • Send your image as a CMYK file.  If you send as an RGB, we will convert it to CMYK as that is what the printer prints.  When you're designing, make sure it's in CMYK that way the colors will be exact.  We are not responsible for color mismatches due to files being incorrect.
  • Your sizing will be approximate to what you choose from the longest part of the image.
  • If these will be pressed onto a black garment and your image has black in it, choose the option that states "Knock out Black".  That way black won't be printed on your image and will be a much softer feel (the black garment will take place of the black ink) 

TRADEMARK STATEMENT:
Due to the increasing frequency of trademark registration applications and infringement allegations, you are solely responsible for determining if any designs are trademarked or have any legal limitations for your intended usage.  By purchasing the custom option, you verify that you are the original designer or have purchased the original designers POD license.

Best Practice

  • If you want to blend the design with the color of the fabric you will be printing on, it would be best to leave some design background transparent. This way, the main component of the design is what is printed while the fabric becomes the background that completes the way the design looks.
  • Our DTF printer is very sensitive and it will print everything it sees on the design that may not be seen by the naked eye at first glance. Please make sure that your design does not have any dirty parts.
  • The DTF printing software does not print a white under base on any gradient color or background. This results in a low-quality print because of the missing white under base. This also results in the adhesive powder not adhering to the gradient color area. Therefore, it is best to avoid gradient color or background in your design.
